[[PageOutline]] = Overview = The BSI C++ panel, more formally known as [http://standardsdevelopment.bsigroup.com/committees/50003497 IST/5/-/21], is responsible for the UK standardisation process for C++. Much of this work involves interaction with [http://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg21/ SC22/WG21] the ISO working group for C++. The BSI interests are represented at the formal meetings of SC22/WG21 by a delegation, usually consisting of a dozen or so members of the BSI panel. = Meeting Schedule = A lot of work is done electronically though a members-only [https://lists.accu.org/mailman/private/cxxpanel/ email list] and there also are a number of face to face meetings held each year; although a combination of geography and other commitments means that only a minority of members are able to attend these. {{{#!td The provisional BSI C++ panel meeting dates for 2020 are: * [wiki:members/meetings/2020/02_03 Mon 03 Feb] (at Christian Medical Fellowship) * [wiki:members/meetings/2020/03_23 Mon 23 Mar] * [wiki:members/meetings/2020/05_26 Tue 26 May] (at Bloomberg) * [wiki:members/meetings/2020/07_06 Mon 06 Jul] * [wiki:members/meetings/2020/11_02 Mon 11 Nov] * [wiki:members/meetings/2020/12_07 Mon 07 Dec] }}} {{{#!td The BSI C++ dates for 2019 were: * [wiki:members/meetings/2019/02_11 Mon 02 Feb] * [wiki:members/meetings/2019/04_01 Mon 01 Apr] * [wiki:members/meetings/2019/07_08 Mon 08 Jul] * [wiki:members/meetings/2019/08_19 Mon 19 Aug] * [wiki:members/meetings/2019/10_28 Mon 28 Oct] * [wiki:members/meetings/2019/12_09 Mon 09 Dec] }}} All meetings are held at the BSI: [wiki:bsi_meetings#Location 389 Chiswick High Road, London, W4 4AL]. These and other relevant panel meetings are shown in our [wiki:bsi_meetings#Calendar Google Calendar]. = Membership = The BSI C++ panel consists of a number of people, not all resident in the UK, who share a common interest in C++ and a desire to help with standardising the language as it continues to develop. Membership of the BSI C++ Committee is voluntary. There is no payment for membership nor charges for joining.
