Overview
The BSI C++ panel, more formally known as IST/5/-/21, is responsible for the UK standardisation process for C++. Much of this work involves interaction with SC22/WG21 the ISO working group for C++.
The BSI interests are represented at the formal meetings of SC22/WG21 by a small delegation, usually consisting of half dozen or so members of the BSI panel.
Meeting Schedule
A lot of work is done electronically though a members-only yahoo group and there also are a number of face to face meetings held each year; although a combination of geography and other commitments means that only a minority of members are able to attend these.
The BSI C++ panel meeting dates for 2019 are:
All meetings are held at the BSI: 389 Chiswick High Road, London, W4 4AL. These and other relevant panel meetings are shown in our Google Calendar.
Membership
The BSI C++ panel consists of a number of people, not all resident in the UK, who share a common interest in C++ and a desire to help with standardising the language as it continues to develop.
Membership of the BSI C++ Committee is voluntary. There is no payment for membership nor charges for joining.
